What this policy covers
This is the privacy policy for Internet Outreach Experts (“IOE”, “we”, “us”), the church-website and AI-tooling business operated by Rev. David Baker, M.Div. in the Commonwealth of Virginia. It explains what personal information we collect from churches and church staff who use our services, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can manage it.
If anything here is unclear, the fastest way to get an answer is to email pastordavidbaker@gmail.com. A real human (Pastor Dave) reads every message.

Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to information we collect when you:
- Visit internetoutreachexperts.com or any of its subdomains
- Sign up for an IOE subscription (Starter, Standard, or Professional)
- Use IOE Studio (our AI tooling platform at
studio.internetoutreachexperts.com) - Submit our intake form, contact form, or schedule a call
- Receive transactional email from us
- Have us build, host, or manage your church’s website
What we collect
Information you give us directly
- Account details: name, email address, phone number, the church or ministry you represent, your role there.
- Billing information: handled exclusively by Stripe. We never see, store, or transmit your full credit card number — Stripe stores it on its PCI-compliant infrastructure and gives us a tokenized reference. We can see the brand and last four digits in our Stripe dashboard.
- Intake form data: when you complete the welcome form after signing up, we collect your church’s name, denomination, address, service times, staff list, brand colors, mission statement, and any photos or logo files you upload.
- Content you upload to your site: sermons, bulletins, events, photos, ministry pages, etc.
- Support correspondence: emails you send us, voice transcripts from our AI phone agent, notes from discovery calls.
Information we collect automatically
- Server logs: IP address, browser, pages visited, referrer. Standard web-server logs, retained ~30 days.
- Authentication cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in to your account at
/account/. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. - Site analytics: if you’ve added a Google Analytics or similar property to your church website, that platform’s data goes to your GA account; we may also have read access for reporting purposes.
How we use it
- To deliver the service. We build your website, host it, run AI tools against it, and respond to support requests.
- To process payments. Via Stripe. Subscription renewal, plan changes, invoicing, and cancellation are all routed through Stripe’s hosted Customer Portal.
- To send transactional email. Sign-in links, welcome messages, build-status updates, billing receipts. We use Resend as our email delivery provider. We don’t send marketing email without explicit opt-in.
- To run the AI tools you ask us to. If you submit content to IOE Studio (text, photos, audio), portions of it are sent to AI providers (Anthropic, Google, xAI) to generate the output you requested. Those providers do not retain training data from API calls under their business terms.
- To diagnose and improve. Aggregate usage patterns, error logs, performance metrics. We do not sell this data.
Who we share it with
We share data only with vendors required to deliver the service, and only what they need:
| Vendor | What we share | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Name, email, billing address, payment instrument | Payment processing |
| Resend | Recipient email, message content | Transactional email delivery |
| Anthropic / Google / xAI | Specific content you submit to AI tools | Generating AI outputs you requested |
| Twilio | Phone numbers, call transcripts | AI phone agent (if used) |
| Cloudflare | Public-facing site traffic | DDoS protection / CDN (some sites) |
| Hosting provider (OVHcloud) | Site files, databases, email | Server infrastructure |
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertising networks. We do not use it to target ads on third-party sites.
We may disclose information if required by valid legal process (subpoena, court order). We will notify you unless legally prohibited.
How long we keep it
- Account + intake data: for as long as your subscription is active.
- After you cancel: we keep your account record, intake data, and a snapshot of your site for 90 days in case you reactivate. After 90 days, we delete it (except as noted below).
- Billing records: retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting law (US federal + Virginia state).
- Email logs: Resend retains delivery logs for 30 days.
- Support correspondence: kept indefinitely unless you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can:
- See what we have. Email us and we’ll send you a copy of your data.
- Correct it. Most fields are editable directly in your account or via Stripe’s Customer Portal.
- Delete it. Cancel your subscription and ask us to delete your data. We honor deletion requests within 30 days, with the exception of records we’re legally required to retain.
- Take it with you. We’ll export your site content (a WordPress export file) and any data you’ve put into Studio if you ask.
- Object to processing. If you have concerns about how we use your data, email us and we’ll work it out.
If you live in California (CCPA/CPRA), the EU (GDPR), the UK (UK GDPR), or another jurisdiction with specific privacy law, you have the same rights above plus any additional rights granted by your local law. To exercise them, email pastordavidbaker@gmail.com.
Children
IOE’s services are sold to adults representing churches and ministries. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If a church website we host contains photos of minors, that’s content owned and submitted by the church — see your church’s own privacy practices and use of those photos.
Security
We follow standard industry practices: HTTPS everywhere, encrypted backups, role-based access, no shared admin credentials, daily security scans on every site we host, multi-factor authentication on third-party services where available. No system is perfectly secure, and we’ll let you know promptly if we ever discover a breach affecting your data.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we’ll email subscription-holders at the address on file and update the “last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
