Each slide can link to any page on your website, or any other website you may wish to promote. Any sort of content is possible here; pictures, graphics, text, video, any html. Typical slides are:
- “Message Series” slide, assuming that your church uses series with accompanying graphics.
- Slides that promote an upcoming event or fellowship opportunity.
To set these slides up, we need a few things from you: images (or other content such as a youtube URL) and text to go over these images/content. It would also be useful to have the URL or name of the page you want the slide to link to, if you want it to link to something. If the slide is promoting something that is for a limited time, it’s also important that you let us know when to put the slide up and take the slide down.
If you want to set up a slide for an upcoming message series, please provide us with the title of the series, as well as a description of what you’d like the slide to look like (eg, a smiling person in prayer) or a similar graphic you’ve found on google images, etc. in a .doc or .docx file. We can find an image for you using this information, and use it to create the slide. You’ll have the opportunity to ask for changes.
If you’re promoting an event from your church, it’s usually best to provide whatever images you may have to us, as well as ideas of what you’d like the slide to look like in a .doc or .docx file. We can use your images (past events, promotional art from guest musicians, etc) to create the slide. Alternatively, we can also look for images for you based on your description or examples of what you’re looking for. You’ll have the opportunity to ask for changes.
