The basics
These are the terms for using Internet Outreach Experts (“IOE”, “we”), the church-website and AI-tooling business operated by Rev. David Baker, M.Div. in the Commonwealth of Virginia. By signing up for a subscription, you agree to them. They’re written to be readable; if anything is unclear, email pastordavidbaker@gmail.com and we’ll talk.

What we provide
Three subscription tiers. All include a managed church website on hosting we operate, the IOE Studio AI tooling platform, daily backups, security scanning, SSL, and email support. Higher tiers add more Studio capacity, more features, and (on Professional) a custom site designed by Pastor Dave personally. The current scope of each tier is published at internetoutreachexperts.com/pricing; we may add features over time.
Who can subscribe
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must be authorized to sign up on behalf of the church or ministry whose website we’ll be building.
- The organization must be a legitimate religious, ministry, or related nonprofit entity. We reserve the right to decline service to organizations that misrepresent themselves or whose mission is incompatible with ours.
Billing
- Monthly or annual. Subscriptions auto-renew on the same day each month (monthly plans) or on the same day each year (annual plans).
- Annual is two months free. Annual plans are priced as 10 months of the monthly rate.
- Charged in advance. The next billing period’s fee is charged on or near the renewal date, before the period begins.
- Stripe handles it. Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details live on Stripe’s PCI-compliant infrastructure; we never store them.
- Failed payment. If a payment fails, Stripe will retry per its standard retry schedule. If we still can’t charge after a reasonable window, we’ll suspend your account until the payment is resolved. Your site stays online while we work it out.
- Taxes. Prices listed are exclusive of any applicable taxes; you’re responsible for those if your jurisdiction levies them.
Cancellation
You can cancel anytime — online, in 60 seconds — via the Customer Portal at internetoutreachexperts.com/account. No phone call required, no “save offer” gauntlet. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You can also pause for up to three months if you’re going through a transition (sabbatical, summer, search committee, etc.); contact us for that.
Refunds. We don’t refund the current period when you cancel mid-cycle — you keep service through the end of the period you’ve already paid for. If something has gone seriously wrong on our end, ask: we’ll work it out fairly.
Plan changes
You can upgrade or downgrade anytime from the Customer Portal. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period.
What we promise
- We’ll keep your site online with reasonable uptime — we aim for 99.5% or better and have a daily-monitored security and performance routine to back it up.
- We’ll respond to support requests within one business day (priority support on Standard and Professional gets responded to faster).
- We’ll keep daily backups and we’ll let you know promptly if there’s ever a security incident affecting your data.
- We’ll handle migrations from your existing site, configure DNS, and set up your domain as part of the build.
- On Professional, Pastor Dave will personally design and build your site — not delegate it, not template it.
What we don’t promise
The service is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee 100% uptime, that AI-generated content will be perfect, that third-party integrations will continue working forever, or that search engines will rank your site any particular way. The internet is messy and we’re a small team — we’ll do our level best, but we can’t guarantee the impossible.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees you’ve paid us in the prior twelve months. We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Publish content that’s illegal, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes someone else’s intellectual property
- Send spam, run phishing schemes, or distribute malware
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to circumvent security on the platform
- Resell our services to third parties without our written agreement
- Use AI tools to generate content that’s deceptive, defamatory, or otherwise prohibited
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. We’ll usually warn you first unless the violation is severe.
Your content
You own the content you upload — sermons, photos, ministry text, your church’s brand assets, everything. We just host and operate the platform. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to host, display, modify (e.g. resize photos for performance), and back up your content as part of operating the platform. That license ends when you cancel and we delete your data per the privacy policy.
Our content
The IOE platform itself — IOE Studio, our website templates, our themes, our code, our brand — belongs to us. You’re licensed to use them for your church’s website during your subscription, but you don’t get to repackage them, resell them, or take them with you when you cancel. Site content and content you originated remains yours.
AI-generated content
IOE Studio creates content with AI. We don’t claim ownership of AI outputs you generate — they’re yours to use. We do disclaim warranties on AI-generated content: AI can hallucinate, miscredit sources, or produce inaccuracies. Always review AI output before publishing it on your church’s website. We’re not liable for downstream consequences of AI-generated content you choose to publish.
Termination
You can terminate (cancel) anytime as described above. We can terminate for cause (material breach, non-payment after retry, illegal use). On termination, we’ll preserve your data for 90 days so you can export or reactivate, then delete it per the privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in Virginia state or federal courts, except for small-claims matters, which can be filed where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be communicated via email to subscription holders at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
